What is Children's Church at ACC?
The emphasis of a Children’s Church program during the regular church service is not so much to teach children as it is to reach children. We want to make the most of every opportunity to connect with children in a very relational manner and allow opportunity to serve children (Three through Six) and their parents by providing a nurturing, learning environment during regular services.

What happens in Children’s Celebration during regular services?
The Children's Celebration will begin immediately following the praise and worship portion and Children’s Message of the service. This is to allow the children to participate in the praise and worship with the church family. A ministry team will present God’s Word in exciting ways that 3 to 6 year olds understand and can help lead them into a relationship with Jesus. This is done through a variety of fun and exciting ways including; Bible stories, games, singing, snacks, and crafts, designed specifically for these ages. This hands-on learning approach will enhance the children’s ability to learn and retain the Godly principles needed to be successful in life. Thematic teachings will be used to help enhance lessons and encourage student interest and involvement. It is our goal to provide each child a loving, caring, and fun atmosphere in which they can discover how much God loves them and that God has something special planned for their lives.

“Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these’. –-Matthew 19:14

MT 19:14"Let the little childrren come to me
The Little Children and Jesus
People were bringing little children to Jesus to have him touch them, but the disciples rebuked them. When Jesus saw this he was indignant. He said to them, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it." and he took the children in his arms, put his hands on them and blessed them. I think of this scripture often as I teach the little ones. I think it's one of the most beautiful scriptures in the Bible Debbie W
