Alexander James Petty Update (Bufe & Jonna's newest Grandchild)
I just spoke with Jonna and her and Bufe have just returned from Children's Mercy hospital after visiting Alex. He is doing well. She commented that he has to work to breathe as his lungs aren't quite developed yet. His mom (Tosha) is being released from Butler tomorrow and will be staying at the Ronald McDonald Facility while Alex is in the hospital. Thank all of you for your continued prayers for Adam (daddy), Tosha (mommy), and Alex!
Please pray for Matt & Christian Shannon, Harvey & Jean Addleman and their family. Matt's niece Dora Lee Shannon passed away last Friday. She is Harvey's great grandaughter.
I would like for everyone prayers my neice Riley Essenpries was just taken to Childrens Mercy Hospital. She is in surgery right now getting her finger tip sewed back on. We would greatly appreciate it. We will try to give an update at church tomorrow.
A little update on Riley, she went to the doctors today and everything is goin great.
They think that her finger is going to heal correctly. Thanks for all the prayers and still keep her in them as well.
Would like to ask for prayers for my brother Mark. He had an MRI and they found either a cyst or a tumor. He now has to have a cat scan. Please pray that it is just a cyst and that they can remove it and relieve his headaches.
Thanks so much,
Charlotte
Well it's official. My son got his orders to Iraq. He will be preparing to leave September 15th. He told me that he is to be ready to leave on that day but he may not actually get sent exactly that date. He said that they will start sending 600 troops out a day until all are deployed. He will be leaving out of Fort Wainwright Alaska (172nd SBCT [Stryker Brigade Combat Team]. Most of the base gets deployed so there will be alot of soldiers heading to Iraq. Please remember my son (Khalid Jurdi) as well as all the other soldiers going and the ones already there in your prayers. Even though he is only 21 years old he sounded like such a man when he told me "not to worry Mom". I am so proud of him and the man he is becoming. Thank each of you for your prayers. May God's blessings continue to bless your lives. PB&J (Prayers, Blessings & Jesus)

Please keep Scoptt Bagby and family in your prayers. He was taken by ambulance to St. Lukes East early this morning. He has an unknown blockage in his colon. They are doing an exploratory surgery today to try and figure out what is going on.
